The Society of Mooters is a student body of University Law College, formed in the year 1996. The Society of Mooters initially organized the Moot court Competition at the South India Level, but later it was done at the National Level. This body has been taking the initiative of organizing various legal activities in college like the Mock Parliaments, Law Fests, etc. over the years, the Society of Mooters has earned a reputation for conducting the Annual Moot Court Competition, an event that distinguishes itself from others due to its fairness and transparence. This competition is known to bring some of the best legal minds from across the country together to compete and the same time interact with each other.
This year, Society of Mooters has entered its Seventeenth Year making it one of the oldest Moot Court Competitions in India, yet going strong by stimulation legal minds across India and has come up with the โXVII All India Moot Court Competition, 2013โ which promises to achieve its basic aim of providing legal minds to express and discuss their opinions on different facets of law.
Registration of Teams
- The registration of the teams will be on a first come first serve basis. The first 28 teams shall qualify for the competition.
- Every team shall register themselves by sending an e-mail, on or before 10th January, 2013, toย ulcmoot2013@ gmail.com
- The Subject of the mail shall be โRegistrationโ.
- The registration need not contain the details of the students taking part in the competition and such other details, but should only intimate to the Society of Mooters, in clear and unambiguous language, that their respective college shall take part in the competition, and it should also contain contact numbers and the State, District, Area in which their college is located. The registration shall be confirmed by the Society of Mooters within 72 hours in receipt of the registration mail.
- Registration has to happen only through email and colleges sending registration form without prior registration through email shall not be considered for the competition. However, the filled registration forms which contain the details of students taking part should be received latest by 18th January , 2013 via post to the postal address mentioned below. The registration form shall contain the details of the participants, sign and seal of the principal along with the seal of the college.

- Teams may download the forms from www.ulcmoot.com and post it to postal address mentioned below.
- The registration fees of the competition shall be intimated/notified to the confirmed teams via e-mail
