(UNI) Eight new judges of the Bombay High Court were today sworn in and administered the oath of offices by the Chief Justice Mohit Shah in the Central Hall of the High Court.
Following this, the total number of Judges in the various bench of the High Court reached 60.

The new judges are Justice Sirish Gupte, Justice Z A Haq, Justice K R Sriram, Justice Gautam Patel, Justice Atul Chandurkar, Justice Revati Dhere, Justice Mahesh Sonak and Justice Ravindra Ghuge.

All of them were advocates from the bar and are known for their sharp legal acumen. Of them, Justice Sirish Gupte had practiced on the civil side for many years, while Justice Reveti Dhere was the chief public prosecutor.

Justice Mahesh Sonak is from Goa while Justice Ravindra Ghuge hails from Aurangabad. Justices Atul Chandurkar and Z A Haq are from Nagpur while others are from Mumbai. UNI
