(UNI) Indian Justice Delivery system has undergone a sea change over the years and it is the duty of the faculty members of academic institutions to aware the students about the impact and development in the field of law, Justice B S Chauhan of Supreme Court said.`
While addressing an interaction session with HP University members, research scholars, participants of Academic Staff College and law students in the Committee room of the Vice-Chancellorโs office, Justice Chauhan said, “The teachers must build the competence of the students and they should dedicate themselves with all sincerity to the welfare of the students.”
He exhorted stated that students should also have a sense of discipline and maintain order if they are to rise in life in their career. “Right to privacy and women empowerment are two and as which need to be debated deeply.”
Dr Balram Gupta, Director, National Judicial Academy, Bhopal also present on this occasion said a good lawyer must have good memory and he should also possess of good communication skills.
He also highlights the role of a teacher in guiding the career of the students. Students must acquire knowledge by reading the autobiographies of good books in the field of law.
H P U Vice Chancellor A D N Bajpai also welcomed the guest also urged the faculty members and students to maintain regular quest for acquiring knowledge.
He emphasised that students should devote time for organising debates or lectures or seminars beside other academic activities in the campus.
