ICSI – CS Executive New Syllabus 2017

CS Executive New Syllabus 2017 is applicable from March 2018.

The Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has approved New Syllabus 2017. The new syllabus (Syllabus 2017) for the Executive Programme of the Company Secretaryship Course. The New Syllabus shall comprise of Eight papers at Executive Programme.

Each paper at CS Executive Programme Examination will be of three hours duration and will carry 100 marks. Students registered under CS Executive syllabus (2017) shall have to successfully complete a Pre-Examination Test to become eligible to enrol and appear in the Professional Examinations.

  • Part I: Company Law, Principles &Concepts (50 Marks)
  • Part II: Company Administration and Meetings – Law and Practices (40 Marks)
  • Part III: Company Secretary as a Profession (10 Marks)
  • Setting up of Business Entities and Closure [SBEC – 100 Marks]
  • Part A: Setting up of Business (40 Marks)
  • Part B: Registration; Licenses & Compliances (35 Marks)
  • Part C: Insolvency; Winding up& Closure of Business (25 Marks)
  • Tax Laws [TL – 100 Marks]
  • Part I: Direct Taxes (50 marks)
  • Part II: Indirect Taxes (50 marks)

  • Corporate & Management Accounting [CMA – 100 Marks]
  • Part I: Corporate Accounting (60 marks)
  • Part II: Management Accounting and Valuation (40 marks)
