The premises house the office of the Bihar State Bar Council, the parent body to which all the advocates of Bihar are registered. The Council is headed by aChairman (Sri Baleshwar Pd. Sharma) who is elected by the elected members of the Council. The members are directly elected by the advocates from their respective constituencies.
Bihar State Bar Council brings our a monthly Law Journal ” BIHAR BAR COUNCIL JOURNAL” at a very affordable price of Rs.800/- per annum (4 volumes),ย Rs. 850/- per annum (by Regd. Post) & Rs. 80/- per single copy.
The building also houses the private chambers of advocates. It is a three storeyed building and hub of legal activities. The building also has a branch of United Bank of India catering to banking needs of advocates.
